Exotic Vacation

The Red Sea is a snorkel and scuba diving paradise, with more than 1,100 species of fish. The 7,000 year-old coral reef extends for over 1,200 miles and is recognised as one the world's five finest dive locations. The landscape is barren but beautiful and unlike the scorching temperatures in summer, winter weather is sublime at around 22°.

We has two yachts to recommend: Superfun and Metsuyan IV. Both have a relaxed style and experienced crew to help guests who want to venture sub-sea. On-board comforts, large entertainment systems and great food will ensure a memorable charter.

The Indian Ocean covers 20 per cent of the earth's surface and has two of the world's most beautiful archipelagos: the Seychelles and Maldives. In deciding which to choose (and choosing both is ill advised unless you want to spend days cruising in open seas), realise that these two water-wonderlands have little in common.

The Seychelles are often cited as the earth's oldest ocean islands. The signature granite boulders are fringed with lush green palms and wide powder sand beaches. Peaks reach up to over 3,000 feet and the capital island is Mahe.

The Maldives are relatively young, formed from coral and set within lagoons. Peaks - what peaks - these islands rise to no more than three metres. Just to confuse the two groups further, the capital island is Male.

Culture, in the form of nightlife, restaurants and shopping, very much depends on which islands you visit. Both have spectacular spas and hotels with outstanding restaurants. Shopping is not going to be a highlight and, with a few exceptions, the Maldives is probably the more sophisticated of the two. The Indian Ocean islands have some of planet earth's most gorgeous beaches and your yacht will provide every other comfort you could possible dream of.
